This is spot on as they say down under. I immigrated from Australia 10-years-ago and bought a home last year with my first HOA.

America is out of control and so is its bloody HOA's.

Having a homeowner association is almost as bad as a screwing from an x-wife.

There is an HOA here but the are idiots, some reasons I wouldn't buy into this subdivision...
1* There is an old chair in the green area, been there for weeks.
2* The ajacent neighbor blows all his dirt and street debris under the south gate, and the lawn service doesn't even pick it up
3* It is a Cox only community, and the service sucks. I mean sucks bad. The Internet and Cable go out all the time.
4* There are people using the community pool who do not live here, it has become more like a public pool. Some of these are Mexicans.
5* People take their dogs into the pool area. This is a healthcare violation and issue.
6* The street lights don't work and light next to the mail boxes is always out.
7* There are a lot of feral (wild) cats running all over.
8* Dogs bark all hours, they crap everywhere.
9* There are pigeons every where they crap in the pool area and other public areas.
Who the hell wants to pay HOA fees for this?
